Very well-kept, home-style restaurant, a bit hidden. Prices are in a reasonable lower median. The food was strikingly good and the service was quick and friendly.

Been there yesterday for the second day of Christmas. We became aware of the restaurant because we often ride the parallel bike path to Baldeneysee in Essen, always well visited, so there. Balkan dishes: exactly how we like it, and we were by no means disappointed, very friendly, tidy, quiet, tasty and cheap food, absolute recommendation!

What should I write....... Spider webs everywhere; partly very spent; You have to run after the service, which is very annoying! The food - and that is not meant to be rude - has chips booth level; I have rarely received my food so carelessly; amazing is the neutral flavor preparation Sorry - I can only advise against it from A to Z !!!

Robust atmosphere in the restaurant and the prices, well, it's almost. For coffee and cake in the afternoon enjoy a flop! Cake is not on offer. But the service was very nice. For the cake she offered us ice cream with strawberries. Was not bad either.

Came late, an hour before closing time on a Sunday, after a short stroll in the neighborhood. The staff was kind enough to service us with a fine weissbeer. Cheaper than I expected too, and very pleasant with the brick interior. I think it would be a splendid place to rest on a sunny day.

It was a recommendation. In Navi we entered Am Mühlenbach 1, but then we had to go a little further than expected. We drank latte and it tasted delicious. Drinking coffee is the test phase for us for further visits. So we ordered a table for 2 persons for Sunday, 13 o'clock. On Sunday we sat comfortably at a four person table in a cozy corner. The menu then surprised us beyond measure. International dishes, seasonal dishes (roast goose in familiar variations), steaks, grilled meat, fish, game dishes, salads, soups. We could have read for hours, but we wanted to eat and not read. So I ordered a stuffed hare's back, served with a delicious dark sauce, red cabbage and a half pear, my wife ate 1 Dalmatian toast, which included a decent portion of meat with mushrooms. We drank a Riesling from the Moselle. The restaurant "Am Mühlenbach" is especially recommended for meat lovers.
